Costs in what has become Manitoba’s most costly defamation case keep growing, according to Blacklock’s Reporter.

CBC has been ordered by Justice Herbert Rempel of Manitoba Court of Queen’s Bench to pay $295,017 in legal fees after he ruled the public broadcaster failed to be fair, balanced and responsible in its 2012 stories involving Winnipeg investment advisor Kenneth Muzik.
